The Area
The Costa Blanca is the name given to the 212 km stretch of land on the eastern Mediterranean coast in the Province of Alicante. Its coastline has a variety of landscapes ranging from palm-fringed beaches where the pure blue sea is clean and clear to the rugged mountain areas.

Altea
Altea is without doubt one of the most charming towns to be found on Spain's
Costa Blanca. This medieval town has cobbled streets, a picture book old
quarter and boasts the delights of a palm-fringed seafront and esplanade.

Calpe
Calpe has a wonderful mixture
of old Valencian culture and modern tourist trappings which
harmonise together perfectly. This
provides
an ideal base from which to explore the local area or enjoy
the many beaches. Calpe alone has three of the most beautiful
sandy beaches on the coast, overlooked by the impressive
Rock of Ifach.

Denia
Denia
is a magical place full of life, tradition
and vibrant colour. It has adapted a cosmopolitan character
while remaining a charming harbour city. The town is situated
at the foot of the majestic Montgó mountain between
Valencia and Alicante.

Jávea/Xábia
Javea is a town of great beauty, magical landscapes, sheltered
by the impressive Montgó mountain. It has
an excellent coastline of some 25 kilometres dotted with
caves and bays to explore as well as safe sandy and
clean beaches to visit. Every type of water sport is catered for including
windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing and excellent sea fishing.

Moraira
This idyllic and
picturesque fishing town has an abundance of beaches and
fine coves, such as Platgetes, Portet,
and L’Ampolla - the latter dominated by a solid, large defence tower known
as the Castle of Moraira. This natural port with its traditional fish market
and picturesque littoral is the ideal setting for several sports, such as scuba
diving, sailing,
or bike riding.

Teulada
Teulada's history has been traced back
to the beginning of the history of mankind. The town itself
is
situated
between Calpe and Javea. Residents are drawn to the area
because of its peaceful way of life and warm climate.
